Wonderful News

Anna jumping rope on Daytona Beach 4/7/12
I took Anna to her cardiologist today to check on the status of her Mitral Valve Stenosis.   She is doing absolutely wonderful.  The dr. told me that if he hadn't been watching her since she was an infant (she's been under this dr's care since she was a day old), he wouldn't pay as close attention to the murmur in her valve.  He reminded me how he thought she would need treatment a long time ago, but her valve continues to work well despite the mild stenosis.  Her EKG and blood pressure was fine.
She's been having annual echocardiogram (more when she was little).  The dr. said this year's was not necessary.  She'll have one in a year.  I am so excited!!!   Just another example of my miracle girl!!!   She's been playing 8 under softball this year vs. the t ball she originally planned to play. It didn't bother her a bit.  Her teacher said he didn't notice any problems.  THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!
Also today, my oldest son, Elijah got his braces off after over 2 years.   He has to wear a retainer for a year, but it's so great to see his bright white wireless teeth.  He's been a trooper through these past few years.  I'm so glad to be rid of those things.  They kept on breaking!!!!
This with the art exhibit earlier this week for Nate,  I am a very happy MOMMY!

In other family news......
This weekend 2 of my husband's sisters and I will be heading to a ladies conference.  I am so looking forward to spending time with them and see other friends I don't get to see that often.   Another neat aspect of the conference is that it's held at the college I graduated from 20 years ago.  It doesn't seem like that long, but life has been so wonderful since the day I walked off that campus for the last time as a student (it didn't actually happen until August of 1992)  Unlike Elijah who is getting high 90's in Spanish, I struggled and failed it my last semester :(.
I'll give a recap of my weekend when I get back.

We live in amazing times! I'm so glad Anna is doing well!
Again I am so glad that we brought you and your brothers up learning and you receiving the Lord as your Savior at the age of 4.

Our God is so good!
