God's protection
About noon today I got a phone call from Nate's school nurse saying there had been an accident. Nate had got on a treadmill in gym class not realizing that a classmate had adjusted the settings to a very high speed.. He lost his balance and broke his tooth. His dentist was not in. Neither was mine. It took calling most of the dentists in our Verizon phone book to get a dentist that was even open on a Friday afternoon. That was so frustrating. We finally found one in Corning, about a half hour away. They were willing to fit him. We got called in about 5 minutes after we arrived. The dental assistant got the x ray she needed. The tooth was broken just below the nerve. Even in the busyness of the office, we were only in the office only about an hour. The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. I was very impressed. I'm honestly sort of glad we didn't have to deal with Nate's regular dentist. He's not very friendly...
